World’s largest mobile manufacturing plant started in India

Samsung India has inaugurated the worlds largest Mobile manufacturing plant in India. Two years back Samsung had started setting up the plant, today PM of India Narendra Modi and PM of South Korea Lee Nak-Yeon has officially inaugurated the plant together in Noida India. Samsung has made the more than 2000 Cr Rupees of investment to be able to produce 12Cr mobile devices per year.

The plant area 35 acre and expected to run on full capacity by 2020. Companies like Apple and Nokia mostly manufacturer their products in China and the reason behind it is skill worker and low production of devices. We are wondering instead of getting skilled labor in huge number in China why Samsung has started the new unit in India?

Samsung sales lots of phone in India, out of which almost maximum phones gets manufactures outside of India. This step of manufacturing phone in India itself will get skip a lot of taxes involved in the import and export process. Ultimately we could see a drop in the price of Samsung devices which could raise a headache to lots of other rivals.
