After Vivo NEX we have got another true bezel-less Smartphone, Oppo launched the Find X with the motorized slider on the top of the phone. The reason behind the Vivo’s pop-up camera and Oppo’s slider mechanism is simple, to get the all screen phone without notch.
Companies like Apple Nokia and Oneplus went for notch option to maximize the screen size. And Vivo and Oppo invented the pop-up camera and motored slider to get rid of a notch. With this innovation, Oppo Find X achieved the 93.8% screen to body ratio with screen size 6.42 inches. The aspect ratio of the screen is raised to 19.5:9.
It has Snapdragon 845 chipset, 8GB of RAM, 256GB of storage, and two different colors available. Specifications are pretty good to call it a flagship. Massive 3730 mAh puts on more weight phone. The back as well the front of Find X is covered with gorilla glass 5.
There is another Lamborghini edition of it is also launched which has huge 512GB internal storage. The special edition also has VOOC fast charging, which charges the phone from 0 to 100 percentages in just 35 min.
More about slider
The innovative pop-up slider of Find X holds all the three cameras – the dual 16MP + 20MP rear camera and the 25MP front camera. The pop-up slider comes out automatically whenever required. The sad thing about it is that is won’t come with no fingerprint scanner option. Neither on the front nor on the back.
Unlock system totally depends upon the 3D face recognition. Hardware for 3D face recognition is also mounted on the pop-up slider. So basically whenever you unlock the phone slider with come out. Oppo Claims to have a durability of the slider more than 300 thousand times. But moving parts are always annoying, and for every single time, you unlock the phone is even more annoying.
But the bezel-less screen gets over of slider, hopefully find X will perform better in the market and its own space
