Sony had launched the Xperia XA2 and Xperia XA2 Ultra Smartphone earlier this year at CES 2018. With these smartphones, Sony has revealed its focus on mid-range smartphones. Sony has just added one more phone to the mid-range collection. On July 11 Sony announced the new Sony Xperia XA2 plus.
Don’t Miss: New Surface Go teased by Mircosoft
The phone has huge 6 inches Full HD+ display of resolution 2160×1080 pixel with 18:9 aspect ratio. Sony is still following its own traditional design basics in the era of bezel-less smartphones. Xperia XA2 Plus is not a bezel-less phone but the good part is that it has 6 Inches display. The body is made of anodized aluminum with diamond cut edges. Front of the phone is covered by the gorilla glass 5.
Don’t underestimate its 23 MP single rear camera. It can shoot 4K videos, can record the slow motion at 120fps. It also comes with the bokeh mode which gives good photography experience. On the front, it gets the 8 MP camera with the wide 120-degree angle. It has a fingerprint scanner mounted on the back of the phone and 3.5 mm audio jack at the bottom.
Sony Xperia XA2 plus comes in two variants the one with 4GB Ram with 32 GB of internal storage, and the other one with 6GB Ram and 64 GB of internal storage. Both versions come with external storage support up to 400 GB. It has Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 630 processor under the hood with Adreno 508. Also, it supports the dual sim in a few regions. It supports the massive 3580 mAh battery with Qualcomm’s Quick Charge 3.0 as well as Qnovo Adaptive Charging technology.
It runs on Android Oreo 8.0 out of the box. It has Sony’s immersive High-Resolution Audio technologies, for the first time in super mid-range phones. In the end, it is a good mid-range premium smartphone if we intoned the little extra bezel. If you are not the fan notch and the mechanical solutions to get rid of the bezel, then this phone is best for you. It comes in total our color options Black, Silver, Gold, and Green.
